Here's a little background information about LiverpoolTour.co.uk which may go towards helping you decide whether or not advertising with us is

When we first came up with the concept for LiverpoolTour.co.uk we asked ourselves a few questions:
First, what is the internet used for?
Well, generally speaking, we feel the internet is used for:
Entertainment
Shopping
Communication
The main thing we feel people use the internet for,however, is seeking free information
The next question we asked ourselves -
How many visitors are expected to our region each year?
According to investmerseyside, this is over 19 million visitors each year, and further growth is expected for 2008 for the Capital of Culture celebrations
Next we asked ourselves, how many of these visitors are expected to seek free information prior to their visit?
Unfortunately we couldn't answer that one, but if a small percentage of
the 19 + million seek informaion, and a small percentage of those pay US a visit, then that's still potentially an awful lot of people!
So, we then set to work on creating LiverpoolTour.co.uk, a free information guide for visitors to the city
We have created here a virtual tour of the city to give visitors a flavour of what to see and do during their visit, but without giving too much
away as we don't want to spoil any surprises for them!
This includes short, snappy articles and photographs
As this is a content rich website, covering many subjects, there is a strong likelihood we will be picked up by the major search engines on various Liverpool related keywords, thus increasing the chance of web surfers discovering the site
In addition to this, we already have over 1,000 internet links to the site which, again, should help maintain a strong internet presence, and thus bring visitors to the site
Not only that, but we also have sponsored links though Google, which means that often when web surfers enter 'liverpool' related keywords in their search for information, LiverpoolTour.co.uk will appear and the reader is offered a free virtual of the city
We are also currently working on some other projects which unfortunately we can't mention here but we are confident these will help us with our search rankings too (you can, of course, test our search rankings for yourself)

Since the official launch of the website on August 1st, we have been receiving great feedback from you, both from communications through our 'contact us' page, by telephone, and in person when we have met you at your premises on our visits around the city

Great idea! So we created a page specifically for hotels
"Love the idea of having places of interest fom around the city with local eateries featured, but, hey, wouldn't it be good if there was a seperate page for restaurants and take aways too?"

"We don't have a website, so, wouldn't it be good if visitors could see a photo of our restaurant before they arrive?"
Great idea! So we now,for restaurants,feature a photo of our sponsors' venues on the website so visitors can take a look before their visit
"Wouldn't it be really good if we could have links to our websites, especially for restaurants so visitors can preview our menus?"
Great idea! So, we now offer links to your website, and for our sponsors these are FREE
"What about a 'What's on in Liverpool' section. That'd be good wouldn't it?"
Great idea! So we created a 'What's On In Liverpool' section - we're still working on this and are asking for feedback from our visitors
"We love the idea of offering our visitors a bonus voucher, but can we change our special offers as and when it suits us?"
Great idea! You may have different promotions throughout the year, so you can change your bonus offer whenever, and as often, as you wish, just give us a call and we'll have your bonus voucher updated - and usually on the same day
