If you love animals, you'll absolutely love a visit to Knowsley Safari Park!
Located in an outer suburb of Liverpool, England, if you're planning a visit to the city it really is well worth taking at least half a day to see the many attractions on offer here
First of all, you can drive through the park and see the animals close up, and we mean CLOSE UP, especially when you come to the monkey enclosure!
The safari drive usually takes about an hour, and you can drive through as many times as you like (be warned though, those monkeys mentioned may have completely dismantled your car by the time you've driven through a few times, but there is a car friendly route you can take as an option)
There is also a wonderful sealion show, with normally 3-5 shows daily, and
a bird display with up to 3 shows daily
From April - September, and during school holidays, there is a real treat in the form of a falconry flying display and, again, these take place throughout the day
If all that wasn't enough, there is also a children's farm (that's a farm with animals of course, not children), a bug house, an amusement park with all the thrills and spills of the fair, a miniature railway, souvenir shop and, if
you're feeling peckish, a cafe
