Opening Event
Liverpool's all new 10,000 seater stadium will be playing host to the opening celebrations linked to events across the city
Street Performance Programme
To animate the streets and public spaces of Liverpool city centre, there will be a programme of street performers. These will run throughout the year

Fresh Festival

2008 is the Chinese New Year of the Rat and Liverpool's Chinese Community will be welcoming visitors to their celebrations including a Festival of Light which has been specially commissioned from Beijing and Shanghai artists
